This stone & thatch church is nestled on the banks of the Vaal Dam under trees and enjoys a inspiring view too.

Used as a Church since 1978, the initial 2 rondawel-like structures were originally built & owned by the brother of Deneys Reitz (a former Minister of Water Affairs) & Deneysville also owes it's name to him.

Its Foundation Stone was laid by Rev. 'Bill' Meaker of the Methodist Church - Sasolburg. The Church has grown to 2 services every Sunday while it is also popular for weddings, whilst many baptisms & funeral services have been
held there too.
